The Care giver’s life, a letter to anyone who wants to understand.

This is just beautiful and fully captures the experience of being a caregivier. I encourage you to read it if you are a caregiver, have been a caregiver, or know someone who is a caregiver.

You do it for love. You do it in love. You do it because only you can. You do it because you don’t know how not to do it. Your battles are fierce, but no one will write about them. Your victories are amazing, but no one will report about them on the news. Your joy and pain will be palpable, but no one will know but you how much. There is no red carpet award, but even if there were, it would be pale against knowing all that you learned in the journey-or smile in the eyes of the person who needs you.

In the end there is no losing there is only becoming, enduring, and affecting. All is well, all is as it should be, and we keep moving…

Read all of The Care giver’s life, a letter to anyone who wants to understand.
