This is a great story about unconvential communities of people supporting the dying. Back when I was working for hospice I organized on for an acquaintance from my spiritual community. It was amazing to watch people come together and become his family and caregivers. Even once his children arrived, we remained and cared for them too. It's was a powerful experience and one I'm not likely to forget.
